Gods Gifts
I have never experienced the loss of a child or pregnancy, but I have known too many close people of mine who have. These women are so strong I can't even imagine! Today is Rememberence day for the pregnancies and infants lost. Someone very close to me found out she was pregnant after trying for 5 years last week only to find out today that she had miscarried. :( I had no right words to tell her just the hurt I felt for her! It also make me so so grateful to God for giving me the gift of my son Rhett! I will never take him for granted and I will forever keep thanking God for him! Every child is a blessing! That is why even in different situations that is how it should be looked at; as a blessing from God. For the people who do not think this way should spent some time with women who can't have children or who have lost their child. Every child is precious and truly Gods Gift! This day is a special day for me. Exactly one year from today I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! I was working night shift at the time and I had just got off work at 10am. I hadn't missed my period yet, but I felt like God was telling me that I was pregnant. So at 1025 I took that test and I couldn't believe it was positive! I was filled with so much joy I couldn't sleep! I instantly called my Husband because I just simply couldn't wait til he was off work! He was suprised and excited all at once! So today is for all the lost ones and for my gift from God! This blog is dedicated to all the women who can't get pregnant, who have lost a child, and who have lost a pregnancy! I may never know how you feel, but know how strong of women you are to have gone through that!

Senior Night!
For senior night Lakeview played Crete. The sets went
25-10
25-16
27-25
Wayde had a good game as well as all her team mates! They also were able to put in some players that don't get to play a lot in tonight which is really good for their experience. Like you can see above we won in three straight sets, but I don't know what changed in the third set as to why it was so close! Luckily we pulled through and finished the win! They play best three out of five sets. Every set except the fifth goes to 25. The fifth set goes to 15. It was a fun night and Rhett was able to see a lot of his cousins and family!

DIY Project
Well since like I said I am not that crafty don't judge my little DIY project of mine. There are no onesies for my son to wear to support the Lakeview Vikqueens (the high school I went to in Columbus, NE). So, I decided to make one for my sister-in-law'a senior (Wayde) volleyball night. I just went to Walmart and bought some plain white onesies and puffy paint. Of course more than one for mess ups! ;) The puffy paint is made for fabric and was only $.097! So it was a great buy! I started on one onesie, but didn't like it so I tried again on another onesie and I think it turned out really good; for me! ;) I really hope Wayde likes the shirt! On the front it says L.H.S for Lakeview High School then the back has Rodehorst on it with the number 10. Which is Waydes number! Well, here it is!!!
I know not something that you could buy on Etsy, but I am proud of it! :)

Front door makeover
My front door had some much needed landscaping and a little decoration to it. Before it was just weeds and grass, but with a little mulch, an old barn door, flowers, and some other fun antiques it has become very cute! I am proud of this because I am not crafty at all! This is a project I am proud of and it adds my style to our house. It also helps it look a lot better when people come up to the door. The front door has a rustic look because it has distressed white paint on it which gives it some character. Even though it is fall and Halloween is right around the corner I have my Nebraska "N" hanging from it. Can't hide my pride! ;)

Tasty Tuesday
I tried a new recipe and it was farmer Weston Approved! That says a lot because usually he has something to point out that could be changed. This recipe all he had to say was that it was really good! :)
Ingredients:
2 cups of chicken broth
1 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning
1/2 cup of flour
2 cups of water divided
1/4 cup of cooked crumbled bacon (I used about 6 slices)
1 pound of skinless boneless chicken breasts
2 teaspoons of seasoning (I used crazy salt or like Emerils essence)
1/4 cup of any cheese you like ( I used a bag of mozzarella cheese)
3 cups of fresh broccoli florets
Instructions:
Sauce- preheat oven to 400 degrees and generously grease a 9x13 baking dish. Bring the chicken broth and 1/2 cup of milk to a low boil in a saucepan. Whisk the other 1/2 cup of milk with the poultry seasoning and flour; add the mixture to the boiling liquid and whisk until smooth creamy sauce forms
Here what mine looked like
It was pretty thick, but yum! While making this sauce I would cut the bacon and be frying it up for the next step
Then in a large bowl mix the sauce from above with one cup of water and bacon, stir to combine. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Slice the uncooked chicken breasts into thin strips over the top of the liquid mixture. Sprinkle with the same seasoning you chose to use for the sauce. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Here is what mine looked like before it went in the oven
While the casserole is in the oven, place the broccoli in boiling water for 1 minute or to your liking, then run under cold water and set aside. I like my broccoli not so crunchy so I had it in longer than one minute.
After 30 minutes remove casserole from the oven, check the mixture by stiring it and if the chicken isn't done bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. The sauce should also be thick when it's ready. When it is ready add the broccoli and a little but of water (up to one cup, but I didn't need the whole cup) until the consistency is creamy and smooth and you can stir it up easily in the pan. Top with the cheese and bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
This picture is after I added the broccoli before the cheese
Here it is after and ready to eat!!! Yum! I also put Parmesan cheese on top. I love Cheese!
I hope you all try this recipe and enjoy it as much as we did! :) ❤️Taylor

Family Reunion!
Every year the Andreasen side of my family gets together in Lincoln, Ne. This would be my dads' (Vern Fittje) mother (Eunice) side of the family. Eunice maiden name was Andreasen. My grandmother (Eunice) passed away when I was only 5 so I have very few memories of her. I like going to this reunion cause it is mostly people I don't get to see very often. One of my grandmothers youngest cousin has put together a binder of the family tree. It is really neat to look through and Rhett was added to our tree that day! Rhett also was able to meet some cousins! Of coarse I snapped some pictures to share!

Mary Kay Business
This month I decided to join the Mary Kay business! I'm so excited to learn more about this great product and to share it with others while making some extra money! I received my awesome starter kit for only $75 when it is normally $100. It came with $300 worth of product and a beautiful Coach inspired bag to carry it around in! :)
I love it!
This company is amazing and one reason it is amazing is because it follows these principles: God first Family second and Career third! Also unlike other company that say they are Christian based, the people of Mary Kay incorporate God into their business. Right now I am trying to get my inventory build up so my customers won't have to wait when they want to but product from me. I also have a few goals for myself. I want to do 15 facials in two weeks, have a team member join my team in the first month, and provide myself with an extra $500-$1000 in the first month! I'm excited to start this journey in my life! I would love to share this with any of you who want to know or try this amazing skin care line and beauty cosmetics!

Happy 23rd To Me!
Thursday, October 2, 2014
Wow how time flys!
I can't believe it has been 5 years since I graduated from high school!! This year we had our 5 year reunion. I was the class secretary so I helped with the planning of the party! It was pretty easy planning, but it just sucks not many from our class came :( I think there was about 20 people out of like 80 classmates there. We had it out at Kapels Last Resort. It's just a little cabin that sits on a lake in the middle of the country by Creston, NE. It's a really fun place to have get togethers at! We all brought some snacks and ended up playing tippy cup and beer pong! We lost a lot of beer pong balls due to playing on the deck and them rolling in the water lol! It was nice seeing some people that I am not able to see on a day to day basis. I thought the personalities of everyone were the same as they were in high school just that some are married or have kids now. Here's to the next reunion! May we have more people to share memories with!

It's that time of year!!!
Love the time when it becomes Fall and we start harvesting! Well right now we are just chopping silage for the cows when they come home from the pasture! This is the first time Rhett has been in a tractor! I wasn't able to be with Weston the whole time because of Rhett, but we were able to hitch a ride with him for a little while! :) He didn't know what to think with all the new sounds and scenery. I just can't wait to see him when he's older and to see if he develops a desire to help his daddy on the farm! (I'm sure he will love to help!)
Here are some photos from that day!:)
